Location: Green Lakes State Park
Date/Time: Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 8:00a.m.
Event: The race is roughly 10 miles total throughout the trails of Green Lakes. The start is at the beach and slowly winds its way around the lakes and up toward the Serengeti. The race continues its way around the Serengeti before it descends back towards the beach for the finish.
Packet Pick-up: TBD
Start Time: The race will begin at 8:00a.m.
Pricing: Thanksgiving Day ONLY at $49. November 25th through March 31st at $59. April 1st to May 20th at $69.
Aid Stations: One aid station will be placed at the intersection of mile 2 and 6.5. It is advised that athletes carry hydration/nutrition with them while on the course if needed. The aid station is only water. *Carry in, carry out. No trace left behind!*
Bathroom facilities - The park bathrooms will be open.
Parking: There will be parking in both parking lots by the beach.
Swag: All participants will receive a finisher medal.
Awards:
$100 cash award to 1st place female and male finisher.
$50 cash award to the 2nd place female and male finisher.
$25 cash award to the 3rd place female and male finishers.
$25 cash award to the halfway runner (median of the total number of finishers). This award is donated by local business, Donnelly Designs, handling all your custom woodworking needs!
$25 gift card has been donated by Fleet Feet Syracuse for the last place finisher.
DONATIONS: $100 gift card has been donated by Fleet Feet Syracuse to be raffled off to anyone who has donated to the Onondaga East Chamber through our race signup page HERE.
Deferrals/Refunds: There are no deferrals after March 18th. There are no refunds for this race.

Chance to Win! : 4 Sugar Blossom Cake Shop business cards will be hidden on the course on a survey flag used to mark the course. If you see the card, grab it and hold on to it to get 2 free cookies at the end of the race! 1 allowed per person.
After Race Snack: The SnackRack is providing a delicious protein ball sample for each participant! We will also have water bottles and other small snacks available. WellBeing Brewing Company has graciously donated two cases of their non-alcoholic beer to hand out after the race. One case of Victory Wheat (16 oz cans) and one case of Match Day Light (12 oz cans)!!!
After Race Recovery: Onondaga Physical Therapy: Tom Woznica, PT, DPT, and team, from Onondaga Physical Therapy will have a tent providing services and expertise in stretching, massage gun, and a portable treatment table.
