This exhilarating challenge features four unique and established trail races set against the backdrop of our stunning local trail systems. Each race is thoughtfully scheduled throughout the year, offering you the perfect opportunity to lace up your running shoes and embrace the great outdoors.

An exciting element of our SMTS is the LEadErBOarD!

After each race, we will share the standings, showing where each runner places in the series (this includes everyone who has raced each series race, entered or not entered into the series). It’s you against everyone else. Battle it out for top female and male over the twists, turns, rocks, and roots of our CNY trail network.

If you find yourself in the lead, don’t forget to sign up to receive the coveted series finisher shirt! This shirt is a symbol of your hard work and achievement. So lace up your trail shoes, take on the courses, and see where you stand in the rankings. Compete for pride, recognition, and the chance to earn that Salty Miles shirt!

• You will receive a Salty Miles Trail Series participant shirt.​

Series Swag Packet Pick-up:​

• You can pick up swag at the last race of the series: Table Rock Challenge

Pricing for the Series:​​

It is $16 to enter the series.  Each race is priced according to its respective websites and also includes its own swag and/or awards. You must register by May 20, 2026!​

Deferrals/Refunds:

There are no deferrals and no refunds for the series.

How the Series Works:

To Participate in the Salty Miles Trail Series:

1. Register on this site (runsignup) for the Salty Miles Trail Series beginning July 7th. 
2. Visit the registration webpage for each of the individual races (listed above); and complete their registration process
3. For all of the series races in which you are registered, complete the race miles according to the format of each race.  
4. Your completed race miles will be credited based on finisher lists provided by each race and/or the timing company.
